Office days
A therapist and a portable chair in a corner of your office, for teams who spend the day at desks and screens.
We arrive early, put the chair in a corner out of the walkway and lay out the sign-up sheet.
Each person adds a name and picks ten, fifteen or twenty minutes, so the day runs without a crowd.
You sit facing the back of the chair with your face in the cradle. We work over your shirt, clothed, with bare hands.
We change the cradle cover, reset the chair and call the next name.
Good to know
We ask about pressure before you sit, and check again partway through. Say lighter or firmer at any time.
You stay dressed and seated the whole time. We work over your shirt and use no oil or lotion.
Wear what you wear to work. Glasses and a bulky jacket can come off before you lean into the cradle.
If you are pregnant, or you have a question about whether massage is right for you, ask your doctor before you sit. We do not diagnose.
Who does it
Each holds a certificate from the California Massage Therapy Council, listed beside their name.

Owner and lead therapist
Anabelle runs Pause and plans each event with the client. She likes to walk the space first, so the chair goes where people can sit without being watched.
No. A corner about the size of a small desk is enough, out of the walkway, near an outlet if you have one.
Yes. A closed door and a quiet room are welcome, and the sign-up sheet can sit outside it.
No. A seat is an offer. People who would rather skip it can skip it, and the sheet is open to anyone.
