Markets and fairs
A chair under a canopy beside the stalls, for farmers' markets, street fairs and community days.
We agree the spot, the hours and the shade, and we bring our own canopy and sign.
We put the chair at the edge of the walkway, where people can see it and sit without a line behind them.
People add a name to the sheet, pick a length and take the next seat when it is called.
We clear the spot and leave it as we found it.
Good to know
We ask about pressure before you sit, and check again partway through. Say lighter or firmer at any time.
You stay dressed and seated, in what you wore to the market. We work over your shirt and use no oil or lotion.
Wear what you have on. Take off a hat, glasses or a heavy bag before you lean into the cradle; we can mind it.
If you are pregnant, or you have a question about whether massage is right for you, ask your doctor before you sit. We do not diagnose.

Owner and lead therapist
Anabelle runs Pause and plans each event with the client. She likes to walk the space first, so the chair goes where people can sit without being watched.
We work under a canopy in the shade. If the weather is not safe for the chair, we move the date and tell you.

Chair massage is for adults. A companion can mind a child beside the chair while you sit.
For offices and markets
Tell us the date, the place and how many people. We send a quote before anything is held.
