Your first seat
A first seat takes a minute to explain and ten to twenty minutes to sit.
- 01
Step 1: Book your visit
Book a single seat on the booking page, or ask for a quote for an event. You get a note saying where the chair will be and when.
- 02
Step 2: What to bring
Bring nothing but yourself. Wear what you wear to work. Glasses and a bulky jacket can come off before you sit.
- 03
Step 3: When you arrive
Look for the chair and the sign-up sheet. Add your name, pick ten, fifteen or twenty minutes and sit when your name is called.
- 04
Step 4: What to expect
You sit facing the back of the chair, face in the cradle, arms resting forward. We ask about pressure, work over your shirt and check in partway through. You can stop at any time.
In the chair
Clothed, pressure and stopping
Clothed
You stay dressed and seated. We work over your shirt, with bare hands, and use no oil or lotion.
Pressure
We ask before you sit and again partway through. Say lighter or firmer whenever you like.
Stopping
You can pause, shift or stand up at any time, for any reason. We stop right away.
